OVERWATCH 2 Maps: Blizzard Entertainment introduces new maps, items, and more in Overwatch 2 Update –Blizzard Entertainment has finally said that Overwatch 2 Season 2 will officially begin on December 6th, which is also the end of the game’s first season. Each season will last for nine weeks only, so Overwatch 2 Season 2 is expected to end on February 7, 2023. We’ll be sure to update this section after Blizzard officially confirms the Overwatch 2 Season 2 end date, so stay connected.
Blizzard states that a new season will usually bring “either a new hero or a new map that will rotate each season.” However, it looks like the second season will be going to have both.
The Overwatch 2 content roadmap has revealed that Season 2 will feature a new map. The two maps are of India and Gothenburg. The launch and subsequent launch of Overwatch 2 Season 1 brought many new maps to the game as well as a new game mode, so it’s great to see the developers pushing to release more.

This means players will unlock over “30+ new skins” for Heros, including a new Mythic skin as the last level of the Battle Pass, which is extremely customizable. The Mythic Skin of the first series was for Genji and there is currently no official news on who will get the next one.
That’s it for Overwatch 2 Season 2, but the developers said they “already have new core game modes and a set of new maps in development” and plan to release them in 2023 alongside Overwatch 2’s PvE story mode. Let us see what more is going to come.
