OR Esports announced their Plan of Going International with Valorant Team
One of the main reasons many Esports organisations in India jump to PC gaming especially Valorant was a sudden and surprising ban on BGMI. The 2022 ban on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) may have a negative effect on the expansion of the Indian gaming business in 2023. One of the most well-known battle royale games, BGMI by South Korean developer Krafton, was outlawed in India in July of this year due to purported safety and privacy concerns. Niko Partners predicts that the prohibition will cause the growth of the Indian gaming market in 2023 to be less than anticipated.
Esports organisations like Global Esports, Orangutan gaming and Velocity Gaming were associated with mobile gaming esports and PC gaming esports(especially Valorant) since long well-settled in the scene. OR esports may be just the tip of the iceberg, considering the growth of Valorant esports in India, we may soon witness more and more popular organisations jump onto the scene.
