The Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) Playoffs brackets were revealed ahead of the matchup between Global Esports and God Particles in the VCC 2022: Stage 1 – Wildcard Qualifier on February 13th. With both Global Esports and God Particles set to qualify, the match had low stakes and ended with the latter coming out on top in an uneventful 2-0 victory. Nodwin Gaming found out that teams were playing with a lack of Motivation since both had nothing to lose.
However, Valorant Fans were seen enjoying the light moments between these two teams. In the first match of Haven, we have seen Lightiningfast pick Jett, and Rossi on Astra. It was like switching roles between them. Although Lightiningfast dominated the lobby with his frags. SK Rossi chose Yoru in Breeze’s second map, an off-meta agent who will be reworked in the near future. As a result, Gangadhar received a 0.76 KD against God Particles.
Following these, Nodwin Gaming issued a statement on its official social media accounts in response to the incident. Nodwin concluded after an investigation that God Particles and Global Esports did not meet the competitive integrity standards outlined in the Valorant Global Competition policy code. The company also stated that both teams had been warned and that additional action would be taken later. To maintain the integrity of the brackets, the VCC brackets have also been seeded at random.
The Statements said “After an investigation, it has been ascertained that the Teams god particles & global esports did not meet the Standards of competitive integrity as stated in the Valorant global competition policy code of conduct. These teams have been warned and further actions will Be taken in due course. To maintain the competitive integrity of vcc, the Playoffs groups have now been randomly seeded. We expect all teams to adhere to the code Of conduct in the coming matches.”
