New Valorant map codenamed – Canyon, has been suspected to release soon in the game. We recently saw in April 2021 when the “Breeze” map was released in Valorant. It hasn’t even been 3 months and now the news of another new map has excited the players who are always looking forward to newer content being released. With Episode 3 Act 1 of Valorant coming to an end, the game is not short of newer content as the new map is being developed and will launch soon.
The news about the new map Canyon was leaked by a Twitter handle named: Mike – Valorant leaks and info. This leak was revealed on the 14th of August 2021 on Twitter and Valorant fans got completely excited after hearing it. We will discuss further information about the release date, layout and more in this article.
RELEASE DATE OF NEW MAP NAMED CANYON
The Episode 3 Act 1 of Valorant is coming to an end soon. The new Episode 3 Act 2 was delayed by 2 weeks and will be launched on the 7th of September 2021 respectively. Some fans suspect that the new Canyon map will be released along with the Episode 3 Act 2 however, this seems unlikely because we have not heard any official announcement from Valorant regarding the new map.
Also keeping in mind that the 7th of September isn’t that far away, the new Canyon map should be released along with Episode 3 Act 3 which will be launched in October 2021. No official announcement has been made yet, so we must wait patiently to know the exact details since these are just leaks.
LAYOUT OF THE NEW CANYON MAP
According to the Teaser we saw in the battle pass, the release of the Canyon map seems very likely and true. The new map will feature a Canyon-type environment with Large Rocky terrains and mountains. Another leaked image shows a group of buildings spread out across the top. The Canyon map is being suspected to be a tale of 2 different climatic regions.
