PGL Major Stockholm 2021: Natus Vincere continues their dominance as they beat G2 Esports 2-0 in the Grand Finals. With S1mple in lead, Natus Vincere was able to beat G2 esports 2-0 in the best of 3 series at the Grand Finals of PGL Major Stockholm. This win cements NAVI as one of the best teams in the current CSGO circuit and makes their run this year grander. Here is a rundown of how it all went down in the Grand Finals.

1st Map: Ancient
The first map of the series was Ancient which was picked by G2 Esports. NAVI started as Counter-Terrorists while G2 was on the Terrorist side in the first half. NAVI was able to win the first three rounds continuously as they picked off the out-of-position G2 members. G2 bounced back, thanks to the superb performance by Niko and the team. Both teams won rounds back and forth with chaotic gameplay and G2 got a slight lead on NAVI with 7-5. But s1mple with his godly AWP killed four members of G2 in the 13th round and let NAVI dictate the pace from there. The first half ended with NAVI having an 8-7 score against G2.
In the second half, Natus Vincere started on the Terrorist side while G2 was in the Counter-Terrorist group. In the early rounds, both teams won rounds in a back and forth fashion. But after the 20th round, NAVI just run down G2, as they finished the second half with a 16-11score and a win in Ancient map.
2nd Map: Nuke
The second map of the series was Nuke which was picked by NAVI. G2 Esports started on the Counter-Terrorist side while NAVI was on Terrorists in the first half. G2 won the first two rounds but NAVI’s aggression helped them to take the next three rounds.G2 recovered from the deficit due to the amazing gameplays by the team and they finished the first half with a 10-5 score over NAVI.
In the second half, NAVI was the Counter-Terrorists while G2 was on the Terrorist side. G2 reached the 14th round win easily but NAVI denied them any advance from thereon. The team won continuously, caught up to the score by equalizing 15-15, and forced an overtime play. Both teams played superbly but it was NAVI who conquered G2 at the end, to win the final map Nuke with a 22-19 score.
Conclusion
Natus Vincere won the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 as they won back-to-back maps in the best of 3 series against G2 Esports. While G2 started each game map with a win and even took the lead at various points of the game, the team always clawed their back and finally claimed the victory in both Ancient and Nuke.
