MSI 2023 Play-In Stage Day 5: Golden Guardians and PSG Talon reach Lower Bracket Grand Final in 2023 Mid-Season Invitational – On the fifth day of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2023, four teams competed against each other to stay alive in the Lower Bracket. As many expected, we saw Golden Guardians and PSG Talon stomp through their opponents. Here are the highlights of all the games that happened on MSI 2023 Play-In Stage Day 5.

In the first series of the day, Golden Guardians took on Rainbow7. We saw PSG Talon fight against LOUD in the next series of the day.

Golden Guardians vs Rainbow7
We saw GG play in their peak form as they took down R7 in a clean sweep. In both games played exceptionally and secured almost every map objective in the game.
It was GG’s midlaner Gori and the ADC Stixxay that carried the team to a 2-0 victory in the series against R7.

PSG Talon vs LOUD
Similar to the first series, we saw PSG also dominate in games against LOUD. The PCS representatives played in an organized manner and secured a lead against their Brazilian counterparts in both games.
We saw almost every player from PSG step up in this series and outplay LOUD on the Summoner’s Rift. The 2-0 clean victory will definitely bolster PSG’s morale.
By winning their respective series, GG and PSG move to the Lower Bracket Grand Finals of the Play-In Stage at MSI 2023. They will compete against each other and only the winner will be able to advance further onto the Bracket Stage. There, the winning team will play against those that have qualified directly from the major League regions.
Unfortunately for Rainbow7 and LOUD, their MSI 2023 journey ends with their losses today.
