MSI 2023 Bracket Stage Day 6: JDG and Cloud9 advance in respective brackets at 2023 Mid-Season Invitational – We saw another team exit the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2023. Both the upper and lower brackets had banger matchups and fans saw some great matches between the teams. As most expected, JDG and Cloud9 moved forward in the tournament after defeating their opponents.

Here are the highlights of all the games that happened on the MSI 2023 Bracket Stage Day 6.

MSI 2023 Bracket Stage Day 6: JDG and Cloud9 advance in respective brackets at 2023 Mid-Season Invitational

In the first series of the day, JDG and BLG fought in the Upper Bracket. Meanwhile, the next series had C9 and Golden Guardians facing each other in the Lower Bracket.

Upper Bracket Semifinals – BLG vs JDG

The entire series was the stage for Ruler to show his great plays. The JDG ADC played a major part in stopping BLG from making any comeback attempts. In all three matches against BLG, Ruler had a combined KDA of 35/5/32.

BLG had tried to change the series in their favor through some great play moments. Unfortunately, everything was for naught as they could never overcome the combined force of the entire JDG team. Hence, it resulted in JDG clean-sweeping BLG by 3-0.

Lower Bracket Round 1 – Cloud9 vs Golden Guardians

As many expected, C9 recovered back to `their top form while fighting against their fellow regional team, Golden Guardians. They took the first two games quite cleanly showcasing their better read of their opponents.

GG looked for a miracle play in game three to bounce back. It was delivered by their much-underestimated top laner Licorice and it helped GG register their first win in the series.

Unfortunately, GG could not carry its momentum to the next game. C9 again went back to dominating the game and ultimately won the game to get a 3-1 series win.

With this victory, JDG moves to the Upper Bracket Semifinals where they will face T1. Cloud9 moves to the Lower Bracket Round 2 and will face Gen.G. BLG falls down to the Lower Bracket and will face G2 next. Golden Guardians’ journey at the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational ends here after their loss in the Lower Bracket.
