It appears that a Monopoly-Fortnite partnership is on the way. The files for eight additional backs from the classic board game have been discovered by a Fortnite leaker. Let’s get into the specifics and see if Monopoly will be coming to Fortnite. The new Fortnite season, Chapter 2 Season 8, has only been live for a week, but Epic Games has already revealed its first cooperation with Balenciaga. Now it appears that the next cooperation won’t be far behind.
Dataminers have uncovered cosmetics that feature all kinds of iconic Monopoly figures, according to HYPEX. These cosmetics are expected to come in Season 8. Older tokens like Battleship, Top Hat, and Racecar, as well as newer tokens like Ducky, Penguin, and T-Rex, are included.
Eight tokens have been minted in total from the Monopoly-Fortnite partnership, and they will most likely be used as a back bling. Epic Games partner Shiina commented on the supposed crossover, saying that the leak is “so odd” and that “no content developers seem to have gotten the things, no announcements, nothing.”

As you may have observed, they are some of the most well-known Monopoly characters. According to the leak, these products will be available in the item shop in the not-too-distant future. We don’t know anything about this collaboration until Epic Games makes an official announcement.
The crossover doesn’t appear to be connected to any bigger Monopoly celebrations, despite the fact that the game celebrated its 85th-anniversary last year. It’s more likely to be a continuation of a previous collaboration. In 2018, Hasbro launched a Monopoly: Fortnite Edition that included some of the most well-known skins and locales from the Battle Royale.
Earlier this week, Fortnite included a collaboration with Balenciaga, a Spanish fashion house. The crossover resulted in a basic white Fortnite jersey with an asking price of $995 (£726), in addition to a selection of in-game goodies. In terms of in-game content, the crossover introduced four new outfits as well as a range of cosmetics for various items.
