Mobile Legends Mythic League has been announced for the CIS region: Check out the Format, Prize Pool, and Teams. Moonton Games will be organizing the Mobile Legends Mythic League for the CIS. It will be the second season where the teams will participate and compete to become the champions of the region. The region gained recognition with the unexpected performance of Natus Vincere in the M3 World Championship. The team was able to defeat RSG Singapore 2-0 but lost to TODAK by a narrow margin of 2-3 in the Lower Bracket. It helped them secure a 7th-8th finish in the tournament.
There was a short teaser uploaded on the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Russia’s official YouTube channel. Not much was revealed about the tournament except its name, prize pool, and main sponsor. Here are all the details of the upcoming tournament that we can infer from available details.
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mythic League: Prize Pool
The most striking feature of this tournament will be its prize pool. The previous season of the Mobile Legends Mythic League had a small prize pool of $8,000. In this season, it has increased by more than 12 times and will be $100,000. This amount has been confirmed as it can be seen in the teaser video released on the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Russia YouTube channel.
This prize pool will serve as a boost to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang esports scene in the CIS region. Similar to the previous season, the winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2022 M Series World Championship that will be held later this year.
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mythic League: Participating Teams
Natus Vincere, earlier known as Deus Vult, will surely participate in this season of the Mythic League. There were the winners of the previous season and had qualified for the M3 World Championship. Other teams that came in within the top 4 spots like UNEXT, North Starts, and Team Parrots may also participate this time. Moreover, the huge prize pool will surely attract more established esports organizations to focus on the Mobile Legends Bang Bang tournament in the region.
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mythic League: Format
Similar to the last season, there is a high chance that the format will be the same.
- Regular Season: Ten teams will participate in a Double Round Robin format with a best-of-2 match series played against each other. After the regular season ends, the top 6 teams will advance to the Playoffs.
- Playoffs: Here, the 6 teams will play in a Double Elimination format. All the matches will be best-of-3 match series except two. The Lower Bracket Finals will be a best-of-5 match series. The Grand Finals of the Mobile Legends Mythic League CIS will be a best-of-7 match series.
The schedule for this MLBB tournament has not yet been announced. The teams from the countries that fall under the CIS, which are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, can participate in the tournament. The increased prize pool will surely attract many esports organizations and athletes to take part in this league.
