Mobile Legends M3 World Championship 2021 Playoffs Day 7. It was a do-or-die situation on Day 7 of the Playoffs stage as both the best-of-5 match series were from the Lower Bracket Quarter-Finals. The first series was between Blacklist International and RRQ Hoshi. It was deja vu for RRQ as they lost again by 3-0 to a Filipino team and got eliminated. The second series was between EVOS SG and TODAK. It went till the 5th game and finally, EVOS triumphed over TODAK to advance further in the tournament. Let us take a look at the Playoffs Day 7 matches of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang M3 World Championship 2021.

Mobile Legends M3 World Championship 2021 Playoffs Day 7: Blacklist International cruise while EVOS SG fight hard to stay

Blacklist International vs RRQ Hoshi

  1. In the first game, Blacklist picked Pharsa, Mathilda, Paquito, Yi Sun-Shin, and Esmeralda. RRQ went with Chou, Lolita, Lylia, Yu Zhong, and Natan. Blacklist looked to play aggressive from the start and quickly took objectives. Still RRQ were able to defend their base until past 30 minutes. They almost reached Blacklist’s base but were reverse-wiped and lost the game.
  2. In the second game, RRQ took Bruno, Lapu-Lapu, Ruby, Pharsa, and Paquito. Blacklist went with Chou, Natan, Phoveus, Estes, and Yi Sun-Shin. Blacklist had a better draft than RRQ as the Phoveus enabled them to initiate team fights as well as jump to the backlines to deal disrupt the enemy. This synergy helped Blacklist to win the game within 15 minutes.
  3. For the third game, RRQ picked Bruno, Lunox, Rafaela, Chou, and Paquito. Blacklist went with Phoveus, Clint, Pharsa, Mathilda, and Aldous. This draft also went in favor of Blacklist as they got Phoveus and Clint. In team fights, this combo terrorized RRQ as they had no answer for it. They lost the match more early in just about 12 minutes.

After this 3-0 defeat in the Lower Bracket, RRQ Hoshi will be eliminated from the tournament. Blacklist International will advance into the Lower Bracket Semi-Finals were they will face off against EVOS SG.

TODAK vs EVOS SG

  1. In the first game, TODAK picked Beatrix, Esmeralda, Selena, Chou, and Lunox, EVOS SG went with Popol and Kupa, Uranus, Paquito, Rafaela, and Yve. TODAK performed brilliantly here with nice engages in team fights. The entire team’s gameplay was better than EVOS’s and this helped them to win the game.
  2. For the second game, TODAK went with Paquito, Esmeralda, Mathilda, Angela, and Brody. EVOS picked Cyclops, Hylos, Kagura, Rafaela, and Beatrix. TODAK had taken a good lead in this game with their better hero lineup. But their overaggression in the second lord team fight was punished by EVOS. With this, EVOS quickly performed a comeback and won the game.
  3. For the third game, EVOS took Bane, Hylos, Luo Yi, Brody, and Rafaela. TODAK went with Esmeralda, Estes, Kagura, Lapu-Lapu, and Yi Sun-Shin. EVOS stepped up their gameplay here as their rotations, engages, ambushes and objective based playstyle helped them achieve a dominating win over TODAK.
  4. In the fourth game EVOS picked Paquito, Esmeralda, Lolita, Granger, and Kagura. TODAK took Roger, Brody, Luo Yi, Rafaela, and Ruby. Both teams were quite close in the early and mid game. But a bad engage by EVOS for the first lord cost them the game. After TODAK picked off 3 EVOS heroes, they were able to successfully push for the base and end the game.
  5. In the last game, TODAK picked Wan-wan, Lancelot, Esmeralda, Lylia, and Rafaela. EVOS took Bane, Yu Zhong, Mathilda, Kagura, and Beatrix. TODAK made too many risky plays here and were punished by a more disciplined EVOS lineup. This helped EVOS to build a momentum and they were able to close the final game in their favor and win the series.

With a 3-2 win, EVOS SG will now qualify for the Lower Bracket Semi-Finals to play against Blacklist International. TODAK’s impressive M3 World Championship 2021 journey ends here.
