On the final day of the Group Stage of M3 World Championship 2021, the final four teams battled for spots in the Playoffs. RRQ Hoshi showed a dominant performance by winning all three of their matches while RSG Singapore also played well. Here are the details of Day 4 of Mobile Legends M3 World Championship 2021.

Mobile Legends M3 World Championship 2021 Day 4: RRQ Hoshi takes the top spot in Group D with a 3-0 win

RRQ Hoshi

In their first match, RRQ went up against Team SMG. Their lineup was way stronger than their opponents and RRQ took an early lead with it. They increased this lead throughout the game and finally ended it before 15 minutes. Their second match was against GX Squad was similarly one-sided. RRQ outplayed them in every team fight and won the match within 11 minutes. Their last match was against RSG Singapore. Both teams were equally matched in the early game, but Alberttt from RRQ played phenomenally. He was not killed even once and also got the first Savage of the tournament. RRQ subsequently won this match and now they stand on top of Group D with a 3-0 score.

RSG Singapore

RSG went against GX Squad in their first match. RSG’s team lineup was more balanced in contrast to GX’s squishy two-marksman lineup. RSG punished them for this and won the game. In their second match, they faced Team SMG. With their crowd control heavy lineup, RSG was able to take an early game lead and outplay SMG in crucial team fights. RSG won the game within 18 minutes. In their final game against RRQ Hoshi, RSG was not able to keep their momentum. RRQ completely demolished RSG and their jungler Alberttt even got the first Savage of the tournament. RSG Singapore stands in 2nd place with a 2-1 score.

Team SMG

Team SMG fought RRQ in their first game. As they picked two marksmen, SMG played passively and thus fell back against RRQ’s aggressive gameplay. RRQ ended the game within 15 minutes and gave SMG their first loss. In their second game, SMG went up against RSG Singapore. The crowd control heavy lineup of RSG made it harder for SMG to come back as they kept losing team fights. They got their second loss from RSG in this match. Their last game was against GX Squad. SMG played aggressively from the start and punished GX’s late-game heroes. They won this match and now stand in 3rd place in Group D.

GX Squad

GX Squad went up against RSG Singapore in their first game. Their late-game hero picks backfired as RSG played aggressively and punished them since the early game. GX Squad lost this game quite badly. In their second match against RRQ Hoshi, GX Squad picked 4 magic-based heroes. This hero lineup did not work well as they lacked crowd control abilities against RRQ’s aggression. RRQ won this match easily within 11 minutes and gave GX Squad their second loss. In their last match against Team SMG, GX Squad’s hero picks failed to perform against SMG’s crowd control heavy lineup. They also lost this game and now are placed at the bottom of Group D.
