Mobile Legends Bang Bang teases New Upcoming Hero – Yin, The Forsaken Light- The dev team at MOONTON has released a cinematic about a new upcoming hero on their official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang YouTube channel. This hero is called Yin and he is shown to already have a backstory with another hero from the game. Here is what we can surmise from the clues given to us through this video.
Mobile Legends Forsaken Light: Yin engages with a “Tug of War” with Yu Zhong
As one of the best fighters within the game, Yu Zhong The Black Dragon is considered a powerful antagonist in the Land of Dawn, especially in the Cadia Riverlands region. As we see Yin having a “Tug of War” with him, we can confirm that the new hero is also from this region.
From the cinematic, we can see that Yin has an evil entity sealed within him, who is continuously trying to get out and control Yin’s body. This evil being is called Lieh, as per the details provided when Yin was released for testing in the advanced server. From the cinematic trailer, it looks like both Yu Zhong and Yin/Lieh have a past story, especially since Lieh claims to have subdued the Black Dragon in its previous incarnation. Thus, Lieh may be an evil being sealed a long time ago. Players may get more information when the hero gets released in the original game during the Forsaken Light event.
Mobile Legends Bang Bang: Yin’s skills
Yin can be considered a unique hero in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. According to his skill description in the Advance server, Yin’s passive makes him stronger when he fights alone, away from his teammates. Moreover, his ultimate is the first of its kind. Called “My Turn”, Yin pulls a single designated enemy hero into his domain with him for up to 8 seconds and fights them after turning into Lieh.
This can also be seen in the cinematic video where Yin turns into Lieh and teleports both Yu Zhong and him into a barren, dry, and fiery dimension. In the clash there, we see Lieh overpowering Yu Zhong. But it also looks like Lieh cannot control Yin’s body for too long. In the final moments of the cinematic, we see Yin regain consciousness and walk away.
