Mobile Legends: Bang Bang introduces Edith, the first tank/marksman hybrid hero. After the successful run of the M3 World Championship 2021, the developer team at MOONTON is going to release the first hybrid hero of its kind, a tank/marksman. This hero is going to be Edith – The Forsaken Warden. While donning a mecha suit called Phylax, she will act as a tank during normal gameplay. But when players use her ultimate, she comes out of her mecha uniform to become a damage-dealing marksman with long-range skills. Here are the details of this hero.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – Hero Overview
Here is an overview of Edith, The Forsaken Warden for the MLBB players.
- Role: Tank/Marksman
Although she is a hybrid champion, it is better to use her as a support hero. This is more reasonable especially in the early game when she does not have her ultimate and will be poked by enemy marksmen. After her ultimate unlocks, players can then get attack damage items depending upon the requirements of the game or go full tank. Players can also take her to the side lanes and play her as a late-game hero like Barats. - Skills:
- Passive – Overload
Each time Edith casts a skill, she becomes overloaded for three seconds. In this duration, her basic attacks trigger Chain Lightning, which deals extra magic damage to up to four nearby enemies. - 1st skill – Earth Shatter
In her tank suit Phylax, this skill is the main source of damage. She jumps into the air, landing a blow that deals physical damage in front, knocking them up. - 2nd skill – Onward
This skill is used by Edith to engage in her tank suit Phylax. By using it, Edith charges forward, dealing physical damage to enemies along the way. If she hits an enemy hero in her path, she will stop immediately and throw them back over her shoulder, dealing extra physical damage to the target, and stunning them briefly. - 3rd skill (Ultimate) – Primal Wrath
Her ultimate can be cast when Edith reaches max Wrath. She comes out of her Phlax mecha suit, gaining a shield. She also unlocks new non-ultimate skills and can perform ranged basic attacks. She accumulates Wrath — indicated by the white bar below her HP — based on how much damage she receives in mecha form. The new skills in her Ultimate form are:- Divine Retribution: It is an AoE skill that deals magic damage to enemies hit. It deals extra magic damage every 0.5 seconds to those who enter the area within the next 1.5 seconds.
- Lightning Control: It is a CC skill. Edith releases a linear bolt that deals magic damage to the first enemy hero hit and immobilizes them for one second.
- Passive – Overload
- Playstyle:
As stated earlier, until she unlocks her ultimate at level 4, she cannot morph into her marksman form. Thus, it is better to play passively at first. Use the passive to clear the minion waves quickly. During fights engage the enemy with your tank form skills, then morph into the marksman form in mid-battle. You can then burst down your enemies with your ranged skills and basic attacks.
Since the hero has not yet been released in the original server, giving out item guides and emblem sets now will be a bit hasty.
