Though receiving a DMCA strike is no new affair on Twitch, Mizkif has been banned multiple times in the past.
On June 7, a surprising turn of events unfolded as Mizkif, a prominent OTK member, found himself abruptly banned on the Amazon-owned platform. Consequently, his channel became entirely inaccessible, save for a puzzling message that stated, “Content from this channel has been removed at the request of the copyright holder.”

Twitch has its own DMCA policy and guidelines for handling DMCA strikes. If a user receives multiple DMCA strikes within a specific period, Twitch may take further actions, such as issuing temporary or permanent suspensions, terminating the user’s account, or taking down the user’s content.

Interestingly enough, the ban came swiftly, merely a day after Mizkif passionately urged his fellow streamers to abandon Twitch. This was concerning the platform implementing contentious new branding guidelines—an announcement that Twitch has subsequently reversed in response to the backlash.
The OTK Games Expo, including dozens of new titles, will be held on June 10 at One True King. Although OTK’s Asmongold, Emiru, and Esfand will serve as panellists, Mizkif’s absence from the event’s lead-up promotion could have an effect on how things turn out.
Surprisingly, the ban imposed on Mizkif proved to be short-lived, lasting merely a single day. Following this brief interruption, his channel will be reinstated, granting him the ability to resume his streaming activities once again.
Subsequently, Mizkif followed up on the incident by announcing his intention to stream on Rumble, a platform he recently entered into a partnership agreement. This decision signalled his determination to explore alternative avenues for content creation and engagement.
