Microsoft confirms a regular E3 slot for the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12- When E3 2022 was officially cancelled, gaming fans all over the world were devastated, as it meant the ESA’s annual gaming expo would be cancelled for the third year in a row. Although E3 will not be held this year, Microsoft has announced a live feed of the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase in its place.
The annual gaming conference in mid-June is one of the most anticipated events of the year, with some of the most exciting announcements in gaming history. Despite hopes that E3 would go entirely digital in 2022, the event was cancelled. Microsoft has now revealed that they will take up the same E3 slot with their own event, showcasing new Xbox and Bethesda titles.

Microsoft confirms a regular E3 slot for the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will air on Sunday, June 12 at 10 a.m. PT, and we’re really thrilled about it. This expo will highlight incredible games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our global partners.
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will cover all you need to know about the broad roster of games coming to the Xbox ecosystem in the near future, including upcoming Game Pass releases on Xbox and PC. The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will be broadcast in over 30 languages on a multitude of platforms.
The event will be broadcast on a variety of platforms, including Xbox’s YouTube and Twitch channels. While Xbox will host a presentation in place of the cancelled E3, neither Sony nor Nintendo have said whether they will do the same. While E3 may be a thing of the past, it appears that Xbox is attempting to carry on the tradition with their own showcase.
