The upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 is witnessing substantial roster shake-ups, with prominent teams globally tinkering with combinations, including acquiring or swapping players. Following the trend, NAVI is poised to welcome Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, a former star duelist from NRG replacing Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek.
Former NRG player ardiis is replacing cNed in NAVI Valorant roster
This decision comes on the heels of Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek’s departure from the current NAVI roster. Joining NAVI in November 2022 upon its official inclusion in the VCT Partners league, cNed’s tenure saw decent performances in various events but lacked major success. In the recent VALORANT Champions 2023, NAVI bowed out early, succumbing to consecutive defeats from Paper Rex and LOUD. Nevertheless, cNed’s individual brilliance in these matchups stood out.

Parallelly, NRG also failed to meet fan expectations, making an early exit from the tournament. With the next explosive VCT season looming, NAVI aims to fill the void left by cNed, with ardiis emerging as their prime choice
Now, with the addition of ardiis, the current roster of NAVI in Valroant looks like the following:
- Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov
- Andrei “Shao” Kiprskii
- Pontus “Zyppan” Eek
- Dmitrii “suygetsu” Iliushin
- Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks
If you missed it, this is the same lineup that clinched victory at VALORANT Masters Copenhagen 2022, triumphing over Paper Rex in the grand final. Nevertheless, following their setback in the 2022 Champions Tournament, FPX later shifted operations to China upon the announcement of the Franchise League. Ardiis made a move to the North American region, while the other four players were acquired by NAVI, including the addition of cNed. With this reunion, fans anticipate a recurrence of their past wonderful performances in VCT 2024.
