Malaysia’s esports environment receives a boost as Galaxy Racer invests $10 million into it
Galaxy Racer is one of the fastest-growing esports, gaming, and lifestyle organizations globally. Its headquarters are in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. They have now planned to expand into the Asia Pacific region and will have a regional headquarters in Malaysia. To make esports more prevalent, Galaxy Racer has announced that they plan to invest $10 million into the Malaysian esports scene.
The organization plans to do this by investing in different esports competitions and events of various games that will be held here. This amount will be slowly pumped into Malaysia’s esports ecosystem over the course of 5 years. This cooperation was made official when the officials from Malaysia’s government and the top brass from Galaxy Racer met in Dubai and released a Memorandum of Understanding exchange.
Galaxy Racer sees huge growth potential for Malaysia in future
Paul Roy, the Founder, and CEO of Galaxy Racer have commented that Malaysia has a strong vision to become a large economy and developer of digital solutions in the future. He is excited to establish his Asia Pacific headquarters here and looks forward to helping the Malaysian government facilitate more foreign investments into the country.
Galaxy Racer has announced that they plan to focus on six different sectors related to gaming. It will be new content, formation of esports teams, helping content creators, organizing esports and gaming events, providing attractive merchandise, creating a music label, and finally an animation studio.
