M4 World Championship Knockout Stage Day 4: Check out the results of Lower Bracket Round 2
1st Match: FALCON ESPORTS VS S11 GAMING ARGENTINA
We saw Falcon regain their momentum in this series after their previous loss to ONIC Esports in the Upper Bracket three days ago on Jan. 7. Falcon won back-to-back matches thanks to the MVP gameplay of their support player Naomi.
2nd Match: TEAM HAQ VS INCENDIO SUPREMACY
Team Haq proved to be tough opponents for their Turkish counterparts, Incendio Supremacy. Although the Malaysian representatives took the first game to gain a lead, Incendio equalized by winning the second game, thanks to Sunshine’s dominant Karrie gameplay. In the decider game three, Incendio’s Alien completely decimated THQ’s backline and helped his team win the series.

3rd Match: TODAK VS THE VALLEY
It was TODAK who went up against The Valley in the next series. While the Malaysian team drafted to their strengths in both games, it seemed as if their American counterparts always had answers to their plays. Especially the tank-marksman duo of SUNSPARK and Basic always shut down any attempts from the enemy team. In the end, The Valley cleanly swept TODAK 2-0 to remain alive in the lower bracket.
4th Match: RRQ AKIRA VS OCCUPY THRONES
The final series of the day between RRQ Akira and Occupy Thrones was also a 2-0 clean sweep. The first game was easily won by RRQ Akira thanks to the impressive performance of their jungler Kiing. Although OT was able to extend the second game, they were not able to mount a comeback and it was RRQ Akira who ultimately closed the game in their favor and won the series.
Tomorrow, there will be two best-of-five series held in the M4 World Championship Lower Bracket Round 3. Falcon Esports will face off against Incendio Supremacy while The Valley will compete against RRQ Akira.
