Blacklist International
Blacklist International was considered the strongest team in Group A by many analysts and experts. Standing up to this, Blacklist played beautifully in all three matches and won them comfortably. They won against RED Canids in the first match of the day, then defeated Bedel, and finally triumphed over Malvinas Gaming. Blacklist International now sits at the top position of Group A with a 3-0 score.
Bedel
Bedel faced off against Malvinas Gaming in the second match of the day and defeated them after taking the first Lord in the game. Bedel faced off against Blacklist International next. While Bedel gave Blacklist tough competition, their hero lineup was not good enough and Blacklist won the match. Bedel then faced off against RED Canids. Although they were in the lead, an overextension for the opponent’s blue buff cost them the Lord and RED Canids won the game. As the scores of the last three teams were tied, Bedel had to play against Red Canids in a tiebreaker match. Thankfully, they won against them and thus, took second place in Group A.
RED Canids
RED Canids lost their first match against Blacklist International as their hero lineup did not perform well against Blacklist’s CC heroes. In their second match against Malvinas Gaming, RED’s top and bottom lane heroes were continuously ganked and killed. Thus, they were never able to become effective in the game Malvinas won the match. In the third match, RED Canids found themselves behind Bedel. But an overaggression mistake by Bedel was punished and RED Canids turned the tables by winning the game. As the scores of the last three teams were tied, RED Canids had to play against both Malvinas and Bedel in a tiebreaker match. While RED Canids crushed Malvinas in the first tie-breaker, their loss to Bedel in the second tie-breaker match left with a 3rd place finish in Group A.
Malvinas Gaming
In their first match against Bedel, Malvinas’ hero lineup was not able to answer Bedel’s late-game heroes and thus, they lost the match. In their second match against RED Canids, Malvinas successfully delayed the farm of the top and bottom lane heroes of RED by ganking and killing them multiple times. This allowed them to win their second match. Against Blacklist International in their third match, Malvinas was not able to fight against the poke heavy lineup of the enemy heroes. Thus, they lost the game before 10 minutes. In their tiebreaker match against RED Canids, they were completely outplayed and crushed. This loss left them in 4th place in Group A.
