The event is being held at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. A day before it was scheduled to begin, some uninvited trouble slides in to halt the event, as reported, a substantial quantity of water leak was noticed from the cracks of the ceilings.
Juan “HungryBox” Debiedma, a Smash legend, posted a video of it unfolding on social sites, and it quickly went viral.

In addition to this misfortune, Ludwig also disclosed that a significant sponsor had withdrawn, which made matters worse.
“The title sponsor backed out at the last minute, so it’s going to lose a shit ton of money,” he commented. Still, no matter how much it costs him out of his own pocket, Ludwig wants the event to go ahead as planned. “Smash is what got me into content creation. I’ll always stay true to my day one, money or no money.”

Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, a popular YouTuber. He said, “Can I sponsor it?” Ludwig said, “Pls!” in response. However, it’s not certain if the transaction will actually go through.
After this incident, many supporters have even previously referred to the occasion as “cursed,” at the very least. Despite the setbacks, there are no indications that the tournament will be rescheduled. Staff at the Luxor Hotel & Casino are frantically trying to set up the event space. As this is termed the biggest event in titles’ entire history.
