Ludwig x Tarik VALORANT Invitational: The First Official Valorant Event of the Year- YouTube Gaming star “Ludwig” Ahgren recently surprised the streaming and gaming community by announcing The Ludwig x Tarik Valorant Invitational, an official Valorant tournament. The streamer made the announcement in a 23-second video posted to Twitter. He also states, “This coming weekend. The year’s first official Valorant event.”

Ludwig x Tarik VALORANT Invitational: The First Official Valorant Event of the Year
Valorant’s official tournament will begin on January 14, 2023, and end on January 15, 2023. The event will be live-streamed on Ludwig’s YouTube channel and Tarik’s Twitch channel. Four teams will participate in the tournament: Sentinels, T1, The Guard, and Team SoloMid (TSM). Here are the rosters for each team:

Over 180 community members commented on the Valorant Invitational announcement, garnering more than 16.7k likes on Twitter. Esports writer FionnOnFire (@FionnOnFire) hoped Sentinels would play TSM in the opening match.
Ludwig is a YouTube Gaming content creator known for hosting flagship events on his channel. Last year, he organized several viral events, including his second DreamHack 2022 subathon, the Mogul Chessboxing Championship, Mogul Money Live, and the Super Smash Bros. tournament.
