MOBIES 2023: Mobile gaming has experienced remarkable growth in recent years. With the widespread adoption of smartphones and tablets, gaming has become more accessible to a larger audience. Along with mobile games, its esports also played a major role to create a multi-million industry with teams, sponsors, and viewership. Therefore, it would be unfair not to recognize the praise of this industry. Keeping this in the mind, a new mobile gaming award show “MOBIES” was created. Its first edition is set to be held in Los Angeles, USA on July 14th.

MOBIES 2023: Who are behind The MOBIES – Mobile Gaming Awards?
The team behind the widely acclaimed Esports Awards, which has an audience of over 20 million viewers annually, has launched Mobile Awards, a new initiative to celebrate excellence in the mobile industry. The upcoming Mobies award ceremony, set to take place in December 2022, will be dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in this rapidly growing industry.
The project is being led by Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge, a seasoned veteran in mobile esports who co-founded BAYZ after serving as the Director of Mobile Gaming at Complexity Gaming, one of America’s most prestigious and long-established esports organizations.
MOBIES will follow in the footsteps of “The Game Awards”
Although, The manually held “The Game Awards” already celebrate the awards and recognition of mobile gaming Mobies is aiming to be unique. They will honor top-class performance and innovation from actors across the industry, from players, teams, media, and hardware providers, to publishers or event organizers. This can also be taken as expected category for this upcoming award. The short reveal trailer on their official website also showed the fan-favorite mobile icon Naman “Mortal” Mathur.

The finalist will be revealed on April 27th. At the time of writing, voting has not been opened yet. However, it will be opened anytime soon. You will get access to vote in different categories like players, teams, media, and hardware providers. So gear up for Mobies this July. There are no updates on streaming yet but similar to The Game Awards it will be available on Youtube.
