Game 1
League fans witnessed the peak form of T1 with them picking their meta-defining double ADC bottom lane composition from LCK Spring 2023. This drafting worked wonders for them as LNG were caught unprepared and were not able to counter T1’s strategy at all. The game gradually slipped away from LNG as T1 secured map objectives continuously. The game ended in 26 minutes in T1’s favor as they got a 1-0 lead in the series.
Game 2
T1 opted for the same double ADC bottom lane startegy in the second match. While LNG were able to draft some counterpicks, T1 outplayed them again, turning the LPL third seed’s efforts void. The engages and team fights were execcuted perfectly by T1, not giving much opportunities to their enemies. Similar to the previous game, T1 champions snowballed and won the game in 31 minutes reaching match point.
Game 3
It was a do-or-die situation for LNG and they forced T1 into a different draft lineup from the last two games. Although LNG’s lineup looked solid on paper, T1 had the momentum on their side and were able to punish LNG players throughout this match. It was nearly a perfect game from T1 as they secured all important map objectives and choked LNG in team fights, crushing any hopes of the LPL team’s comeback. T1 closed the game in 26 minutes again, winning the series by a clean 3-0 sweep against LNG.
This was a dominant performance by T1. They have again showcased why they are considered the LCK favorites in international tournaments. Not once in the series did it feel like LNG had the upper hand. It was complete domination in all aspects of the game. With this victory, T1 will now advance to the Semifinals to face against the allegedly best team in the tournament, JD Gaming.
