LoL Worlds 2023 Play-In Day 4: GAM Esports and Team BDS stay alive by winning on Play-In Stage Day 4 – Fans saw the first two teams getting eliminated from the League of Legends 2023 World Championship on the fourth day of the Play-In Stage. The teams that had lost previously in this stage fought against each other to determine who remains in the tournament. Here is a recap of the all the series held on Worlds 2023 Play-In Day 4.

LoL Worlds 2023 Play-In Day 4: GAM Esports and Team BDS stay alive by winning on Play-In Stage Day 4
On Oct. 13, GAM Esports faced off against Rainbow7 while Team BDS played versus DetonatioN FocusMe. The winner of both series moved forward in Worlds 2023 Play-Ins while the loser got eliminated.

In the first series, Rainbow7 got a good start in both games. Unfortunately, R7 failed to maintain its lead in the middle-to-late game, allowing GAM to make a comeback and sweep the series. GAM’s ADC Slader played a crucial role on his Xayah pick in both games. He was able to carry the team while his teammates played around him. GAM won the series by 2-0 against R7.

TEAM BDS vs DETONATION FOCUSME
After their loss to Team Whales, BDS were being doubted by many League fans. But the team showed their mettle in their series against DFM today. Apart from their star players, Adam and Crownie, other team members also played to the best of their abilities.
BDS had better strategy and map control, allowing them to secure more objective and win team fights. DFM failed to create an advantage in both games and the European fourth seeded team walked away with a clean 2-0 series victory.
After their loss, Rainbow7 and DetonatioN FocusMe have been eliminated from the Worlds 2023 tournament. GAM Esports and Team BDS move to the next elimination match where they will face LOUD and CTBC Flying Oyster respectively. Only by winning there will the teams be able to advance to the Play-In Stage knockouts.
