The Grand Finals was the peak of the LoL Worlds 2023 tournament as it attracted over 6.4 million peak viewers. According to Esports Charts, this number was achieved by adding up the peak viewing numbers on multiple platforms (3.28 million peak viewers on YouTube and 2.52 million peak viewers on Twitch).

Hence the Worlds 2023 became the first esports tournament to cross the 6 million concurrent viewer mark. The Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore had received 5.41 million peak viewers and Worlds 2023 broke the record by more than a million viewers. Esports Charts also reported that the viewership of League of Legends Worlds tournaments has been increasing over the last five years.
This victory brought a new page into the League of Legends history books. Faker and T1 became the first player and team to win Worlds tournaments four times. T1 also became the first Korean team to win Worlds in Korea.
