LoL Worlds 2022: With two new teams qualifying, we now have 12 teams that have made it here – The League of Legends 2022 World Championship begins at the end of this month. Till now, we have 12 teams that have qualified for this tournament. The two latest teams that achieved this today are DWG KIA and CTBC Flying Oyster. Let us take a closer look at both these teams.
DWG KIA: LCK third seed
DWG KIA beat Liiv SANDBOX by 3-1 in an intense series at the LCK Regional Qualifier. They have clearly found their rhythm back as we got to see their dominant performance in the series today.
They will now move onto the group stage of the LoL Worlds 2022 as the third seed of the LCK. With them finding their form back, fans might get to see some amazing plays from the 2020 World champions.

CTBC Flying Oyster: PCS representative at LoL Worlds 2022
The Pacific Riot League comprises teams from different countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong, and countries in Southeast Asia. With the PCS Summer split nearing its conclusion, we now have the first team that has qualified for LoL Worlds 2022 from this region.
CTBC Flying Oyster qualified for the Worlds tournament after they beat Beyond Gaming 3-1 to reach the grand finals of PCS Summer. They are currently qualified for the Play-Ins and need to win the PCS Summer title if they want to directly qualify for the Worlds 2022 Group Stage.
With these two teams, the total number that has qualified for Riot Games’ largest League of Legends tournament is now 12.
