LoL Worlds 2022: Rogue crowned 2022 LEC Summer champions, crush G2 Esports in grand finals
Game 1
We saw the Soraka pick on Rogue’s side making a difference in this game. It enabled Rogue’s champions to continuously dive the enemy team. Comp’s Kalista even got a Pentakill here. G2 was not able to counter its aggression and lost almost every objective on the map. By the 30-minute mark, Rogue secured the game and take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Game 2
In the next game, G2 and Rogue had an even early game. Both teams started engaging in skirmishes and trading map objectives from the mid-game. The game turned one-sided after Rogue got the first Baron. From there, they were snowballed and pushed open G2’s base.
While G2 showed some fighting spirit in the late game, they were not able to turn it around. Rogue bagged this game in the 43rd minute after getting the third Baron.
Game 3
Being on match point, Rogue did not want to leave anything up for chance. They were able to out-draft G2 and get many meta champions. It helped them pop off as soon as the mid-game started.
Against Rogue’s better lineup, G2 just crumbled down and faced their third consecutive loss in this series.
Finally, Europe has been conquered. The hours, weeks, and years of work led up to this single moment.
