LoL Worlds 2022: Rogue becomes the second LEC 2022 Summer team to qualify for the largest event in the world – The League of Legends World Championship, or Worlds, in short, is the largest esports event held by Riot Games every calendar year. This year, Worlds is coming to North America and will be hosted across multiple cities. The LEC teams always impress their fans at the tournament. While they have yet to win the tournament a second time, they are still a force to be reckoned with.
This year there will be four teams that will go to Worlds 2022 from LEC. Generally, they only have 3 spots, but due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, the LCL region will not be able to send their representative and LEC got their spot.
The first LEC team that qualified for Worlds 2022 was G2 Esports. The team had the required championship points as they had won the 2022 LEC Spring tournament and have also entered the playoffs for the LEC Summer one.
