beyond gaming vs detonation focusme
This was an important match for both teams. Thankfully for DFM, their AD carry Yutapon popped off in the late game and helped the team secure a much needed win. He got an impressive 12/3/11 KDA on his Kai’sa pick.
evil geniuses vs chief esports club
The NA team continued to play in top form in this game. They secured almost all map objectives and were able to close out the game by the 25-minute mark. With Fnatic’s loss earlier against LOUD, EG is now on level with them.
royal never give up vs isurus
Despite their off-meta picks like Teemo top, Sion mid, and Irelia jungle, Isurus was not able to contend against RNG. The LPL fourth seed completely crushed this lineup to pick up their second win in the Play-Ins.

chief esports club vs beyond gaming

royal never give up vs Istanbul wildcats
This was the most one-sided match of the day. Not only did RNG take all map objectives, but they also denied the enemy any opportunity of making a comeback. With this loss, Wildcats are eliminated from Play-Ins Knockout contention.
isurus vs drx
Fans witnessed the shortest game in this year’s Worlds as DRX crushed Isurus within 22 minutes. With this loss, Isurus has been eliminated from the Play-Ins Knockout contention. On the other hand, DRX is now the only team in the LoL Worlds 2022 Play-In stage to remain undefeated.

Chief Esports Club, Istanbul Wildcats, and Isurus’ hopes of making it to the Group stage are over after a 4-match losing streak. Except for maybe DRX, we still cannot say which teams might be able to make it to Groups even now.
Today will be the last day for the Play-Ins Round 1. By then, we will have at least two teams confirmed for Groups while the others will have to duke it out at the Play-Ins Round 2 Knockout contention for the remaining 2 slots.
