LoL Worlds 2022: LCK teams will fight in Regional Qualifiers for two Worlds spots – With the conclusion of the 2022 LCK Summer split, we already have two confirmed teams that will be going to LoL Worlds 2022 from Korea. Now, to select the fill the remaining two slots for the region, the LCK Regional Qualifier will be held.
In this qualifier, four teams will fight it out for a chance to make it to Worlds. The four teams are:
- Liiv SANDBOX
- DWG KIA
- KT Rolster
- DRX
The two teams to qualify for this tournament will be placed in the Play-In Stage for Worlds 2022.
LoL Worlds 2022: LCK 2022 Regional Qualifier Schedule
There will be three series that will be held between the teams. The initial matchups have been done according to the teams’ performance in the LCK summer split.
- Round 1: Thursday, Sept. 1 from 01.30 PM IST.
- It will be held between DWG KIA and Liiv SANDBOX.
- The team that wins the series will become the third seed from the LCK region.
- The team that loses will have another chance as they face the winner of Round 2 later.

- Round 2: Friday, Sept. 2 from 01.30 PM IST.
- It will be held between KT Rolster and DRX.
- The winning team will advance and fight with the losing team from Round 1.
- The losing team will get eliminated from the race.
- Finals: Saturday, Sept. 3 from 01.30 PM IST.
- It will be held between the winner of Round 2 and the loser of Round 1.
- The team that wins the series will become the fourth seed from the LCK region.
- The losing team will be eliminated.
The LCK Regional Qualifier will confirm the third and fourth seed teams from Korea. They will join Gen.G and T1 to represent the region in the LoL Worlds 2022.
