LoL Worlds 2022: Istanbul Wildcats becomes the last qualifying team to the World Championship this year – Last week marked the end of all the summer splits that were happening across the Riot Leagues. Thus, we have finally confirmed the last team that has advanced to the 2022 World Championship from the Turkey region. Let us take a look at the qualifier.
Istanbul Wildcats: TCL Summer Champion
Istanbul Wildcats have claimed their first TCL Summer 2022 title, beating Fenerbahce Esports by 3-2 in the grand finals. This team has had a solid performance in the regional Riot League this year.
They also won the TCL Winter 2022 title earlier and qualified for the Mid-Season Invitational for the first time. Unfortunately, they got knocked out in the group stage and won only a single game against RED Canids.
