LoL Worlds 2022 Group Stage Day 4: Rogue, JDG, and RNG remain undefeated, Here is the recap – We are halfway through the League of Legends 2022 World Championship Group Stage. While some teams have dominated as expected, there have also been some surprising performances from other teams. As of the time of writing this, Rogue, JDG, and RNG are the only teams to remain undefeated.

Let us look at the recap of LoL Worlds 2022 Group Stage Day 4.

LoL Worlds 2022: Group Stage Day 4

JD gaming vs g2 esports

It was a clash between the titans. Through this day’s first game, both teams were neck-to-neck. G2 had a slight early lead but JDG reversed it in the mid-game. While G2 almost made a comeback, JDG somehow held them off to secure victory. JDG is the first team to have a three-game win streak at the group stage.

rogue vs top esports

Rogue’s momentum was unstoppable as they made short work of the LPL second-seed team. Top Esports continues to struggle with its form, especially under pressure. With this win, the 2022 LEC Summer winners become one of the three undefeated teams halfway through the LoL Worlds 2022 Group Stage.

dwg kia vs evil geniuses

As the home crowd, NA fans will be frustrated with their regional teams’ performances. EG got dominated by DWG KIA, who secured almost every map objective. The LCK third seed team was able to close out the game within 30 minutes in its favor.

100 thieves vs royal never give up

The outcome of this match was also unsurprising. Throughout the match, RNG had a strong grip over the map, punishing 100 Thieves for their mistakes. They were able to destroy 100 Thieves’ nexus with the help of the Baron buff. They are the third team to be undefeated till now in Worlds groups.

gen.g vs ctbc flying oyster

Despite its first time being at Worlds, CTBC Flying Oyster are known for putting up a tough fight. Against Gen.G, they were able to extend the game to 39 minutes, making it the longest one at Worlds Group Stage. The 2022 LCK Summer champions had to give their all to prevent CFO from making a comeback.

gam esports vs drx

It was a one-sided win by DRX. The fourth-seeded LCK team secured almost all map objectives and snowballed the game away from GAM Esports. After taking the first Baron, DRX closed out the game by 23 minutes. Zeka’s Sylas was the star of the game, getting an impressive 10/1/2 KDA.

As we are halfway through the group stage, the competition will only get fiercer going ahead. Only the VCS and LCS teams remain winless till now. The situation is especially bad for NA as all three teams have failed to perform in front of their home crowd.

Stay tuned for more such latest updates from the ongoing LoL Worlds 2022 tournament.
