LoL Worlds 2022 Group Stage Day 3: LCS still remains winless while LCK bounces back, Here is the recap – After their disappointing performance yesterday, LCK bounces back on day three by winning all their matches. On the other hand, LCS is the only region at Groups that remains winless. Its teams have a disastrous 0-7 loss streak. Let us look at the recap of LoL Worlds 2022 Group Stage Day 3.
LoL Worlds 2022: Group Stage Day 3
gam esports vs rogue
The first game of the day heavily favored Rogue and they delivered as well. Despite the GAM managing to stretch out till late game and almost mounting a comeback, Rogue was able to stay in control of the match. The 2022 LES Summer winners held their nerves and bagged the game after defeating the second Baron.

100 thieves vs gen.g
Thanks to ssumday’s Aatrox and Closer’s Poppy, 100 Thieves provided some deterrence. But their bot lane lost to the enemy quite hard, allowing Gen.G to have a clear advantage in the late game. After taking down the first Baron, Gen.G closed the game in 29 minutes.
edward gaming vs fnatic
Fnatic’s momentum was finally stopped by the defending Worlds champion. The LEC third seed found it hard to crack apart EDG’s methodical gameplay. With Viper’s Sivir scaling way ahead of the enemy counterpart, EDG managed to close out the game with the help of their AD Carry.
cloud9 vs t1
It was another NA-bashing show. T1 completely dominated Cloud9, crushing any comeback hopes of the 2022 LCS Summer winners. Not only did T1 secure all map objectives, but Gumayusi’s Kai’sa went 11/0/4. This emphatic win will allowing the team to recover from yesterday’s loss.

royal never give up vs ctbc flying oyster
While CFO matched RNG neck-to-neck in the early game, the team fell off as the match progressed. We saw RNG cores tilt the game in their favor from the mid-game. CFO could not hold out against the enemy’s aggression and lost with RNG destroying the nexus in 29 minutes.
drx vs top esports
The most anticipated match of the day was a complete banger. Despite their disastrous loss yesterday, the LCK fourth seed came back strongly today. DRX completely shut down Top Esports from the early game, making it impossible for the LPL second seed to recover. DRX closed the game within 30 minutes after securing almost every map objective.
