LoL Worlds 2022: Group Stage Day 2
Rogue vs drx
As the first seed of Europe, fans had high expectations of Rogue. And the team also delivered big time. They completely dominated DRX, shutting down almost every play from the LCK team. Rogue secured the game in 36 minutes, earning their first victory in the tournament.

evil geniuses vs g2 esports
The NA vs EU battle continues to be won by the latter side. For the eighth time in a row at Worlds, G2 crushed EG. Even the off-meta pick of EG players could not take them out of this predicament. G2 bagged the game in 27 minutes, recovering from their previous loss.
fnatic vs t1
The LCK second seed got a rude awakening as Fnatic gave them their first loss at Worlds. Fnatic secured an early lead and it became wider as the game progressed. They had complete control of the map making it impossible for T1 to stage a comeback. Fnatic has now won two back-to-back games in the Group Stage.
edward gaming vs cloud9
This was also a completely one-sided match. EDG secured almost every map objective, increasing their lead over Cloud9. The 2022 LCS Summer winners did not have a counter to EDG’s gameplay. The LPL team bounced back from yesterday’s loss with this emphatic win.

top esports vs gam esports
The VCS representatives fell short while competing against Top Esports. By getting almost every map objective, TES was able to pop off against the enemy lineup. GAM’s defense was not able to withstand the LPL team’s assault and they lost within 24 minutes, the fastest one on day two.
dwg kia vs jd gaming
Today seemed like a bad day for LCK fans. DWG KIA played quite methodically and was neck-to-neck with JDG up to the 24-minute mark. But JDG became dominant in the late game as they kept winning team fights and securing map objectives. They finally closed the game by 36 minutes, giving DWG their first loss in Group Stage.
