Both Team BDS and MAD Lions were considered weak teams at the start of the group stage of LEC Spring 2023. But they silenced all critics by beating all teams in the upper and lower bracket respectively to reach the Grand Finals.

Game 1

It was BDS’ Crownie that took the game by storm. His impressive Pentakill and 12/0/4 KDA helped his team to win the game and get a lead in the series. Playing around Crownie, BDS was able to stop any aggression from MAD and stop them from making a comeback in the game.

Game 2

Both teams were playing on equal grounds in the early and mid-game. While MAD started gaining a lead in the late game, a single mistake by their ADC Carzzy cost them the game. BDS caught this mistake and capitalized on it by turning the game completely and winning it.

Game 3

BDS was on match point and just one game win away from winning the series. Unfortunately for them, MAD’s Chasy and Elyoya were able to stop BDS’s momentum. Both of them did not die even once and helped MAD to make a comeback in the series. Their ADC Carzzy also picked up a pentakill in the game.

Game 4

It seemed as if the win in the previous game had bolstered MAD’s performance even further. This time, Chasy and Carzy carried the team to victory. Both of them had 0 deaths and dealt immense damage to the enemy BDS lineup. MAD ended the game and equalized the series 2-2, setting up a silver scrapes series.

Game 5

MAD dominated BDS completely in the final game of the series. They played the perfect game with none of their players dying even once in the game. All 5 players gave their best performance in the series to register a reverse sweep.
