League of Legends Esports: T1 bids farewell with Park Jin-Seong, Might Join North American league LCS. Park Teddy Jin-Seong has opted to separate ways with T1 esports, bringing the players’ three-year career with the League of Legends squad to a close.
According to recent sources of Teddy Leaves T1, the 23-year-old has already piqued the curiosity of international teams in the LCS and local clubs in the LCK. Before the competitive season in 2022, at least two LCS teams are expected to sign the player. T1 elevated young and promising ADC Lee Gumayusi Min-hyeong to the team’s starting lineup in the latter stages of 2021, leaving Teddy on the bench.

League of Legends Esports: T1 put their faith in Gumayusi during Worlds 2021, which was placed in Reykjavik, Iceland in October and November, after sharing the position for the entire year. The squad concluded their championship journey in the semifinals, losing 3-2 to regional rivals DWG KIA. Teddy had a long and successful career with T1, winning three LCK titles and reaching the Worlds semifinals in 2019.
Teddy’s News of Teddy Leaves T1 drew a response from Joe Marsh, the company’s CEO. “This was not an easy decision,” he remarked on social media, “but it was the right thing for Teddy to be able to continue his career and have an opportunity to find a team where he can start.”
Teddy will be transferred to the North American league LCS, according to Tyler Erzberger of Upcomer.com. However, no details regarding the team to which he would be assigned have been revealed.
