LoL Esports 2022: Recap of Week 1 of the four main League of Legends esports regions – The Spring Split season has already officially started in all of the major regions in League of Legends. Only League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) is conducting its Lock-In Phase as its Spring Split will begin on 5th February. Here is a recap of all the games that have been played in each of the major regions till now.

League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring Split 2022

The team scores till now are:

  • On My God and FunPlus Phonix have won 3 games each.
  • Edward Gaming and LNG Esports have won 2 games each.
  • Royal Never Give Up has won 2 games and 1 lost game.
  • Bilibili Gaming and Victory Five have won 1 game each.
  • Rare Atom, Weibo Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and Top Esports each have a 1-1 win-loss game score.
  • JD Gaming and Anyone’s Legend have each won 1 game and lost 2.
  • Team WE and Ultra Prime have each lost 2 games in a row.
  • LGD Gaming has lost 3 games in a row.
  • ThunderTalk Gaming has had the worst performance as they have lost 4 games in a row.

League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Split 2022

The team scores till now are:

  • Gen.G Esports and T1 have won 2 games each.
  • DAMWON Gaming, Nongshim RedForce, Brion Esports, Hanwa Life Esports, KT Rolster, and Sandbox Gaming each have a 1-1 win-loss game score.
  • DRX and Freecs each have lost 2 games consecutively.

League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Spring Split 2022

The team scores till now are:

  • Fnatic and Rogue have won 3 games each.
  • MAD Lions, G2 Esports, and Misfits Gaming have each won 2 games and lost 1.
  • Team BDS, Excel Esports, and SK Gaming have each won 1 game and lost 2.
  • Astralis and Team Vitality have lost 3 games consecutively.

League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Lock-In 2022

The current standing of the team in the LCS Lock-In Phase are:

  • Group A:
    • Cloud 9 has won 3 games.
    • 100 Thieves have won 2 games and lost 1.
    • FlyQuest has won 2 games and lost 2.
    • TSM has won 1 game and lost 2.
    • Golden Guardians have lost 3 games.
  • Group B:
    • Evil Geniuses have won 3 games.
    • Team Liquid has won 2 games and lost 1.
    • Dignitas has won 1 game and lost 1.
    • Counter Logic Gaming has won 1 game and lost 2.
    • Immortals have lost all of their 3 games.

The teams are still adapting to the new meta and smoothening out strategies with their new teammates. As a lot of time is still left for the Spring Split 2022 season to complete, it will be hasty to predict the best teams of each region.
