League of Legends Wild Rift SEA Championship Playoffs 2021: Teams, Format, and Where to Watch. The League of Legends Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 has commenced. The play-ins stage ended on the 20th of September and the group stage ended on the 26th of September, 2021. Hence, the teams have been decided for the Playoffs. Qualified teams will battle it out in the Playoffs stage to be crowned as the winners of the South East Asia region.
With a grand prize pool of $200,000 USD spread across the teams and players, there is a lot at stake. The top 2 teams will also earn themselves a ticket to the Horizon Cup 2021. In this article, we will discuss the Format of the tournament, Qualified teams, and where to watch the matches.
FORMAT FOR THE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS WILD RIFT SEA CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS 2021:
The Group stage round of the League of Legends Wild Rift (SEA) championship 2021 has ended. 8 Teams have qualified from the Group stage for the Playoffs of the Tournament. These 8 teams have been seeded based on their Group stage performances respectively. A double-elimination round will take place among the teams. Bracket wise format of the tournament is as follows:
• Group Winners: Upper Bracket R2
• 2nd/3rd: Upper Bracket R1
• 4th: Lower Bracket R1
• Upper Bracket matches and Lower Bracket finals are played in a Bo5
• Lower Bracket round 1-3 matches are played in a Bo3
• Grand Finals is played in a Bo7
QUALIFIED TEAMS FOR THE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS WILD RIFT SEA CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS 2021:
The top 4 teams qualified from each group after a fierce battle in the Group stage of the tournament. The teams that qualified from each group for the playoffs are as follows:
