Apart from releasing new champions, features and fixing the bugs to make the game more enjoyable, the WildRift team has also invested heavily in the esports scene to make the game more popular across various regions in the world. Since the beginning of 2021, Wild Rift regional tournaments have been conducted across Southeast Asia, South America, North America, China, Europe, Korea, and other regions which have helped in making the game more popular in these areas and gaining new players.
The first League of Legends: Wild Rift international tournament which is the Horizon Cup 2021 is also going to be held this month. These factors have helped WildRift to become one of the top 10 highest-grossing mobile games worldwide this October.
