League of Legends Wild Rift: Latest reveals
Alan Moore, the Executive Producer of Wild Rift revealed various key details about the game in the Patch 3.1 video announcement. He has talked about the current status of the game after it received various patches. One of the most important points that he focused on was the improvement in the game’s latency issues and stability across various types of devices. He also told the viewers that the Wild Rift dev team is working on models and features that will promote fairness of the game, address AFK players’ issues, and increase transparency on the penalties for reported players.
One of the biggest reveals of this Wild Rift patch video was the status of the console version of League of Legends: Wild Rift, as well as the release of the game in South Asia, the only region that does not have direct access to the game. Alan Moore announced that both the issues are still being worked upon and regrettably any updates regarding them will not be possible in 2022. With the reveal of Patch 3.1 in Wild Rift, there are various features being added to the Summoner’s Rift. The biggest change brought in this patch is the introduction of the Elemental Rift. Players will be able to get the Dragon Soul buff when they kill the Soul Dragon after their 3rd Dragon in the game. The terrain of Summoner’s Rift will also change depending upon the type of Soul Dragon that will spawn. Unfortunately, the Wind Elemental Dragon has been removed as it gave a too much-hidden boost to the champions. Only Infernal, Ocean, and Mountain Dragons and their Soul forms will be present in Summoner’s Rift. Thankfully, the Elder Dragon has been finally added which can be taken after a team gets the Soul Elemental Dragon.
New Champions are also being added in this Patch 3.1. Shen has been added into the game and he will surely shake the meta with his global teleportation ultimate skill. Karma has also been added in Wild Rift but she has received some changes than her original PC counterpart. The Wild Rift dev team has changed her skills to make her a crowd-control mage rather than a support champion.
New items like Divine Sunderer and Hullbreaker will also be added in this Patch 3.1 along with the rework of existing items like Solari Chargeblade, Hextech Megadrive, Fimbulwinter, and Death’s Dance. New skins and events will also be coming to the game in the new future.
