League of Legends’ Hextech Mayhem will now be available as a mobile exclusive on Netflix Games – Riot Forge had announced at the end of last year that the Hextech Mayhem game which features Ziggs and Heimerdinger, will be released soon. Now the game will be available as a mobile exclusive on Netflix Games. Apart from the super-hit anime show Arcane, it looks like Netflix also wants to add in more content related to the League of Legends lore on its platforms.
What is Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story?
Hextech Mayhem is a music-centric rhythm game where the players control Ziggs, an arcanist from the League of Legends universe. He is known for his love for bombs and explosions. In this game, Ziggs jump over and dodge obstacles in his way while running on the streets of Piltover, a city that was extensively featured in the Arcane anime show. He is trying to escape the Piltover’s Enforcers who are being led by another Arcane fan-favorite character Heimerdinger. The crucial point here is that all of Ziggs’ movements are timed with the level’s music, turning the experience into a mix of rhythm-game and platformer.
What is Netflix Games?
Hextech Mayhem will be one of the two latest games added to the Netflix Game service, another one being Dungeon Dwarves. Netflix Games is a new mobile app that the number one streaming platform in the world offers to its subscribers for free. Hence using the same login credentials of Netflix, users can also access a growing library of games that are being added and made available through this Netflix Games mobile app. The service launched last November, using Stranger Things games as its primary marketing piece. The addition of Hextech Mayhem and multiple other games shows that Netflix will keep investing in offering games through this service. The Netflix Games app is available on both the Android and iOS platforms and is free for existing Netflix subscribers.
