LCK Spring Split 2022: Everything you need to know about the upcoming season- In 2022, the League of Legends competitive scene will soon revive after an exciting off-season that saw many roster shuffles. In the LCK, the Spring Split 2022 will start on 12th January and the first two matches will be between DRX vs Liiv SANDBOX and T1 vs KWANGDOND Freecs.

LCK Spring 2022: Participating Teams

The ten teams that will battle in the LCK Spring Split 2022 are:

• T1
• DAMWON Gaming
• KWANGDONG Freecs
• DRX
• Nongshim RedForce
• KT Rolster
• Hanwa Life Esports
• Liiv SANDBOX
• Gen.G
• Brion Esports

LCK Spring 2022: Format

The LCK Spring Split will be divided into two stages.

• Group Stage: It will have a Double Round Robin format where each team will play 18 match series (best-of-3 each). The top six teams will advance into the Playoffs with the top two teams advancing directly into the Semi-Finals.
• Playoffs Stage: It will have a single-elimination bracket where the teams will play in a best-of-5 match series to advance.
• The winner of the LCK Spring Split 2022 will qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational 2022.

LCK Spring 2022: Schedule

The LCK Spring 2022 schedule is as follows:

• Group Stage will start on 12th January and will continue until 20th March.
• The matches will be held five days a week, starting from Wednesday till Sunday.
• There will be two-match series on each matchday. The first one will begin at 5:00 PM KST while the second one will begin at 8:00 PM KST.
• The schedule for the Playoffs Stage has not yet been released.

LCK Spring 2022: Prize Pool

The ten teams will fight for a total prize pool of 375,000,000 South Korean Won. The rewards will be distributed among the top four teams as follows:

• 1st Place: Qualifies for the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 and gets 200,000,000 South Korean Won as reward money.
• 2nd Place: Gets 100,000,000 South Korean Won as reward money.
• 3rd Place: Gets 50,000,000 South Korean Won as reward money.
• 4th Place: Gets 25,000,000 South Korean Won as reward money.
