Lasith Malinga a Sri Lankan cricketer announced today that he will be joining the Esports Premier League with his PUBG Mobile team. The EPL this year will keep you on the edge of your seat with a fully overhauled format, some significant shocks on team partners, and a Rs. 1 million prize fund. It is Sri Lanka’s largest Esports league, with over 2,000 Esports athletes anticipated to vie for a position in the 12 teams. This year’s event will take place in August, September, and October. League Format

  • Phase 1: Open Qualifier

Online qualifiers are open to every PUBG Mobile player in Sri Lanka. Register as an individual & compete in solo qualifiers. Registrations are completely free.

  • Phase 2: Team Auction

The top qualifiers will be included in a three-day auction when team managers will bid on and acquire players for their respective teams.

  • Phase 3 : Playoffs

The main EPL teams will compete in the playoffs. The top 9 teams will move on to the next phase.

  • Phase 4: Super Weekend And Grand Finals

The super weekends and grand finals, which will take place in October 2021, will determine the final team ranking for the EPL, as well as who will take home the Rs. 1 million prizes!

Participating Franchises

Through open qualifying and auctions, the finest PUBG Mobile players in Sri Lanka will be chosen to represent each team. A total of 9 franchise will participate in auctions
