Kick Streaming Platform: Trainwreck switches to a new streaming platform Kick from Twitch – Trainwreck is shifting to a new streaming service Kick as a non-exclusive streamer and non-owner advisor. According to Train’s TwitLonger, the website may resemble Twitch in appearance but has a number of advantages that will make it stand apart. With its streamer-friendly regulations, such as a 95% sub-income share, the streamer has advised others to follow him and give the platform a year to expand.
“I have a good understanding of Twitch, its foundations, whether they be underground or mainstream, and the way everything works,” he stated in a Twitlonger. “Twitch pads the pockets of a handful of creators, and they are the only ones that won’t admit Twitch’s negligence toward the majority of its streamers.”

Kick Streaming Platform: Trainwreck switches to a new streaming platform Kick from Twitch
The 50-50 sub split on Twitch, according to Train, is the “highest… of any platform in the live streaming world.” Additionally, he claimed that for that 50% split, the website does almost nothing to support up-and-coming creators.
“Twitch does nearly no marketing for streamers, no discovery, and limited help in building their business. Those streamers only succeed from the blood, sweat, and time they put into themselves. Twitch’s only role is as a website host,” he added.
Trainwreck has his own justification for joining this new platform. He explained that in addition to the 95-5 split, Kick will also give the streamer 100% of tips. Partners will also receive payment from a future special creator program for successful streams. As a result, streamers won’t have to rely solely on the number of subscribers; instead, they would receive a “steady income” based on the number of viewers.
“I choose to work with Kick because their investors are willing to listen to creator input to make their platform better. Kick understands that a successful platform starts with a successful streamer. I’ve worked with their team already to create these benefits that no other platform has,” he further continued.
It is a matter of time before we can see if the platform is growing or not, or if it is providing opportunities for streamers to grow. With time if the platform stands on its promises we may witness many other popular streamers change platforms.
