Additionally, a video showed Duke Dennis, a friend and fellow content creator of Cenat’s, being detained by police officers at the scene.
Fans were seen clinging to a car reportedly driven by Cenat, even as the vehicle sped away. The situation worsened as people fell off the moving car. Ultimately, Cenat’s actions led to his reported arrest, and police also made several other arrests in connection with the chaotic gathering.
During a press conference, a New York Police Department officer addressed the media, hinting at potential charges against Cenat for his involvement in the event. The officer mentioned the possibility of “inciting a riot and other charges,” but as of writing, no official charges had been filed against the streamer.
