Following Kai Cenat’s previous stream where he passed away after taking edibles, he was banned on the purple platform. This was rather a shock for his followers. The Twitch Community Guidelines do prohibit the use of drugs while streaming, and they define “self-destructive behaviour” as any action that involves “dangerous use of alcohol or other narcotics that lead to becoming incapacitated.”

Despite having a relatively good year, Kai Cenat recently found himself in hot water for his part in a widely reported assault claim made by social media star Jovi Pena. Although the precise cause for his recent Twitch ban has not yet been made public, fans believe it may be related to a recent stream in which he passed out after consuming edibles.
It is thought that Kai consumed marijuana-laced treats while streaming, which is what led to the ban. The use of marijuana is not prohibited on Twitch, however, it is discouraged and may result in a ban under certain conditions. Marijuana usage that is harmful, in violation of local laws, or dominates the stream are examples of circumstances in which Twitch restrictions can apply.
The duration of his suspension is yet uncertain. He has been banned from the platform four times since becoming a partnered streamer. He did, however, make a statement about how the suspension came at a bad time because he was organising a subathon for one of his forthcoming streams.
