IShowSpeed X Account Hacked: Streamer accused ‘Insider’ to share Crypto scams
In a video clip, upset IShowspeed claimed someone on his team or an “insider” he talks to must be responsible since they were able to access his account. He asserted that after getting the situation resolved, the hacker “is done.”
IShowSpeed also threatened the perpetrator, stating he has connections with X higher-ups and knows the hacker’s location.

The hacker took over IShowSpeed’s account, which has 2.5 million followers, and was sharing links to fake crypto schemes. IShowSpeed attempted to warn followers while on an airplane, saying in a now-deleted post that he was hacked and not to click on any links.
Screenshots showed the hacker promoting “ishowtoken” cryptocurrency giveaways from IShowSpeed’s account before the posts were eventually removed.
IShowSpeed is immensely popular on YouTube for his over-the-top personality and viral moments. His prank and over the top expressive content keeps his audience hooked in. But like many major internet stars, his large platform made him a target for hackers looking to leverage his audience for crypto scams.
The breach of trust by an “insider” clearly outraged IShowSpeed, who is determined to identify the accused. Fans reacted to this clip speculating who might have hacked his account. The situation serves as a cautionary tale for online creators with the need to protect accounts from internal threats.
While IShowSpeed has regained control of his Twitter, the controversy illustrates the ongoing risks of hackers targeting influencers. Their widespread reach makes their fanbases prime targets for fake crypto schemes, as seen by the recent hacks of IShowSpeed and fellow streamer Ricegum.
