iShowSpeed becomes the Most watched YouTube gaming streamers of 2022, Check the top 10 list here – Despite Twitch’s dominance over gamers and streamers (such as Pokimane and Ninja), in recent years, YouTube has been witnessing a massive shift in big streamers switching to the platform full time. Due to financial restrictions in other platforms, streamers opted for the red platform for full-time streaming leading YouTub to be the second biggest outlet for gaming streamers. Esports Insider, Jake Lucy, took to his Twitter post to reveal the top 10 most watched YouTube Gaming streamers of 2022 originally posted by Streamcharts, with a statement, stating, “ IShowSpeed continues to dominate the platform”.

1. IShowSpeed – Darren “IShowSpeed” is undoubtedly the most prominent and fastest-growing streamer on YouTube. His growth on the red platform has been nothing short of astronomical. He went from less than 1 million followers at the start of 2021 to 11 million in September 2022. He has amassed almost 790 million views on his main channel and regularly attracts over a million live viewers per stream, with his most-watched stream garnering over 5.7 million views.
2. Kuzuha Channel – Kuzuha’s is currently Nijisanji’s most popular VTubers. He is skilled at gaming, and in a tournament of Mario Kart between multiple VTubers he secured first place. Like most VTubers, he covers songs, with his most popular cover being of KING. On 3 February 2021, Kuzuha’s cover of KING – Kanaria, surpassed 10 million playbacks making it the first video from Nijisanji to reach 10 million ever, as well as the only cover of King reaching the milestone.
3. TimTheTatMan – Betar started streaming on Twitch in 2012 and joined YouTube streaming on January 23, 2011, ever since, both his channels have amassed over seven million followers and 3.2 million subscribers respectively. His videos are viewed over 524 million times. Broadcasting games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Fortnite, and World of Warcraft, the channel draws thousands of viewers each day. Betar also won the Fan Favorite Male Streamer/Gamer of the Year award at the 2018 Gamers’ Choice Awards.
4. Dr Disrespect – Guy “Dr DisRespect” is an old-timer in the gaming stream genre. He has been around for as long as streaming has been a trend. Although he was initially signed as a Twitch partner in March 2020, Guy was mysteriously banned in June for unknown reasons. He resumed streaming on YouTube in August 2020, and during his first stream, Dr DisRespect attracted over 500K concurrent viewers.
5. Usada Pekora – Usada Pekora is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive. On 5 August 2022 Pekora reached 2,000,000 YouTube subscribers during a karaoke stream, making her the 4th hololive member, the 2nd Japanese member, and the 2nd of the third generation to reach this milestone.
6. Ludwig Ahgren – Ludwig Anders Ahgren began YouTube streaming in late 2021, where he broadcasts video-game-related and started streaming full-time on February 16, 2019. On November 29, 2021, Ahgren announced that he had signed an exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming. At the 2022 Streamer Awards, Ahgren won the award for “Streamer of the Year”. On November 29, 2021, Ahgren announced he would depart from live streaming on Twitch, and moved to YouTube Gaming on November 30.
7. Windah Basudara – Brando Franco Windah, is an Indonesian YouTuber and online streamer. He reviews many genres of games on his YouTube channel. From Role Playing Games (RPG), Action, Real Time Strategy (RTS), Racing games, Adventure games, and many more. As of December 2022, he has 9 million subscribers. Due to his massive success as a streamer, he now amasses around 100k viewers during his live streams.
8. Vegetta777 – Samuel de Luque Batuecas is a Spanish gaming YouTuber. He has a subscriber of 21.68 million and a watch time of 806h 35 mins and has locked himself in the 8th position.
9. DjMaRiiO – Mario Alonso Gallardo, also known as DjMaRiiO, is a Spanish YouTuber with more than 8.18 million followers. His primary focus is FIFA. He started posting videos to YouTube in 2007 under the name “NepeFlipao” which was later changed to “DjMaRiiO2007”. He has now listed himself in 9th position of the Top 10 most-watched streamers chart with 21.68M and 632 h 10mins watched time.
10. MixiGaming – On Youtube, MixiGaming has surpassed 273h20mins watch time with 21.05 million subscribers. Before becoming a streamer, Doi Mixi was an office worker and loved games. As a result, he began streaming CS: GO, Valve’s famous shooting game, in search of fun and fulfillment.
