The creators of the popular multiplayer game Among Us-Innersloth have publicly hinted at the game’s upcoming update in their July dev log on Steam. Since its release on all platforms, the multi-platform game Among Us, which is available on consoles and mobile devices, has reportedly taken the world by storm. An “imposter” in the game must eliminate each other player one at a time while avoiding being caught by the other players. Cross-platform play is also possible with Among Us. Among us Getting New Update
Through the addition of new maps, cosmetics, and roles to Among Us, Innersloth has been actively maintaining the game’s community. Additionally, it debuted the Cosmicube unlocking system, which is comparable to other games’ battle passes. In other words, the longer a player plays, the more XP they’ll earn, which they may then use to branch out and unlock different cosmetics. Another Cosmicube as well as some other updates are being hinted at by Innersloth. Among us Getting New Update
Here is what was teased by the development team for the next update for Among Us on Steam.
-
New Cosmicube! 👀 You’ve been wanting more cosmetics and ways to spend your Stars and Beans, and don’t worry, something is coming. It’s a secret for now but let’s just say it’ll be delicious.
-
Automatic game error reporting. This is more of a backend fix that you won’t see, but it’s cool enough to note! Essentially we’re implementing a system that alerts us if certain platforms or devices are experiencing weird crashes or other errors, which helps us pinpoint bugs to fix more easily. One step closer to getting an in-game bug reporting feature, wooOOOoOOo.
-
The ability to change the map in the lobby settings without having to leave and start a new game.
-
Small store and inventory redesigns, bug fixes, and more improvements. Keep an eye out!
