IEM WINTER 2021: ESL reveals all information about the upcoming IEM 2021 Winter. IEM Winter is just about 2 months away and 13 teams have already qualified for the tournament. This article will tell you everything about the upcoming IEM Winter 2021. IEM Master’s 86th Installment is getting closer every moment. All the teams are extremely hungry to improve their ESL Pro Tour Campaigns.
This is the last chance to collect a massive amount of EPT Points for the IEM Katowice 2022. The tournament will be for 16 teams with a huge prize pool of $250,000, a lot of ESL Pro Tour, along with am Intel Grand Slam Contribution. The tournament will stretch from 2nd to 12th December.

IEM Winter 2021 Prize Pool

IEM Winter 2021 Format
IEM Winter 2021 will have three different stages. The first one is the Closed Qualifier. The Closed Qualifiers started on the 30th of September and are scheduled to end on the 19th of October.
Closed Qualifier
- All Matches are best of 3
- 5 teams will advance to the Group Stage
- 8 Team Double Elimination (Europe)
- 4 Team Double Elimination (NA)
- 4 Team Double Elimination (Asia)
The second will be the Group Stage. The group stage will have 2×8 Teams Double Elimination. The Top 3 of each group will move on to the Playoffs. The opening matches of the group stage will be the best of one and all the other matches will be the best of 3.
The final stage of the Tournament will be the Playoffs. The playoffs will be a 6 Teams Single Elimination type match. The Quarter and the Semi-final will be the Best of 3 And the Finals will be the Best of 5.
